REMEMBER REMEMBER

Our thanks go out to Sergeant Gordon who attended this evening and gave us an insight into the importance and necessity of Remembrance Sunday, I hope it made you all think of how fortunate we are. Remember to ask you relatives of their experiences of war times past to get a first hand frank account of previous difficult times, as Gordon said many of you will have someone in your family with experiences of war times. My own grand father was an chauffer in the 2nd world war and my uncle has an amazing photograph album of his adventures and journeys - maybe you will uncover something new yourself ????

Full uniform for Sunday at church please - this is our opportunity to show the community who we are and keep the promise we made upon investiature and of course our moment to spare a thought for all those who lost their lives to give us the freedom we have today.
